The Buffalo Bills are set to face off against the New York Giants for their first preseason matchup. With injuries piling up, this is going to give a bunch of players an opportunity to make a name for themselves and battle for a roster spot.

Before the contest even started, we got a viral moment with Bills veteran and recently acquired pass-rusher, Joey Bosa. Bosa, entering his first season with the Bills, had just a little bit of trouble finding out where he was supposed to go, which made for a hilarious caught-on-camera moment.

Jonathan Acosta, Sports Reporter for WGRZ, shared the video where the veteran pass rusher can be seen walking into the frame before having to stop abruptly and double-check that he’s going to the right place. Disheveled, Bosa offered, “I don’t know where I’m going,” before ultimately joining his teammates.

At the end of the day, these larger-than-life people are just humans, so it’s funny to see things like Bosa not knowing exactly where to report on gameday. We’re sure he’ll have this down pat once the regular season begins, but even veterans are finding unique areas to grow.

Outside of Bosa’s hilarious arrival at the stadium, Bills Mafia got another “gift” courtesy of Josh Allen. For those unaware, Allen walks into the stadium (even in the preseason) and offers a thumbs-up and a smile to the camera before going into the team’s locker room. It’s a small gesture, but one that the fanbase has grown to love over the years. It’s yet another indication that football is back.

Bills are hoping for big things out of Joey Bosa

The Buffalo Bills brought in Bosa to be a difference-maker on the defensive side of the football. After the team fell short of their expectations to win a Super Bowl, Buffalo wasted no time this offseason trying to bolster both sides of the football.

The five-time Pro Bowl pass rusher signed with Buffalo on a one-year deal worth $12.6M which offers a contract max value of $15.6M. During his nine seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, Bosa amassed 72 sacks in 107 games played with 252 solo tackles and 156 QB hits. While healthy, Bosa is a game-changer and could be the difference-maker for the defense late in the season.

Bosa has a history of taking down Mahomes, as they faced one another multiple times a year with being in the same division.

It’s unclear how much of Bosa we will see in the preseason, with McDermott saying that starters would play about a quarter of action, but noted that due to the injuries on the team, we may see some players warm up but not practice in their preseason matchup.

We won’t have to wait long to see how this team is able to compete with the current injuries on the roster and a whole lot of question marks surrounding both sides of the football. This is the time of the season when some of those questions finally get answered, and we’re more than excited to see how this roster is going to shape up.

For now, let’s just laugh with Joey Bosa. First official day at work jitters, we get it.
