The Buffalo Bills cannot wait to get their premiere pass rusher back on the football field. Brandon Beane made a monumental splash by bringing in future Hall of Famer Von Miller, and he's seen great success on the field with the Bills.

Unfortunately, a season-ending ACL tear on Thanksgiving has the superstar pass rusher clawing and fighting his way back onto the team. While there were some rumblings he could be activated in Week 1, the team played it safe and placed him on the PUP list, meaning he's out for the first four weeks.

That didn't stop Miller from posting an exciting injury update on his Instagram, immediately going viral and riling up the fanbase once again. The Bills Mafia are probably just as, if not more, excited to see him back on the field with the team.

While it may just look like Miller is doing a bunch of running around, his surgically repaired knee looks fantastic. He isn't 100% yet, but this is a promising sign for a team with their eyes set on a Super Bowl.

As Banged Up Bills reported, Miller is working on bending the edge and changing directions upfield, testing that knee to see what kind of range he can get. Banged Up Bills continued, commenting that Miller was loading up and getting a lot of explosion off his right knee, a promising sign at this stage of his recovery. Their sentiment was the exact same as ours, he looks really good.

Getting Miller back on the defensive side of the football will be a game-changer for the team. They've held their own with newcomer Leonard Floyd helping fill in with his absence, and players like Ed Oliver rising to the challenge and Greg Rousseau continuing his impressive upward trajectory.

Anytime Miller posts an update, we get excited. Just imagining what the already impressive defense will be like with Miller back on the field should have even the most cynical person optimistic about the team.

History shows that it takes a player a full season to bounce back, meaning Miller might not be at his normal dominant level until next year. However, history doesn't mean anything to a phenom like Miller. He's already defied the odds this far in his recovery and we're anticipating big things out of the pass rusher once he returns.

The Bills are 1-1 with the Commanders up next. Find a way to squeak out a few victories, protect Josh Allen, and patiently wait for the defense to get a huge boost with Miller's return.
