The Buffalo Bills took care of one of their biggest offseason priorities on Friday when they signed first-round pick Dalton Kincaid to his rookie deal.
Now, the official numbers are out.
A source tells A to Z Sports that Kincaid's four-year deal totals $13,427,040 and it includes a $6,765,120 signing bonus. Kincaid will make $3,356,760 per year, which ranks 23rd among all tight ends.
Here are the year-to-year base salaries for Kincaid's deal:
- 2023: $750k
- 2024: $1,360,320
- 2025: $1,970,640
- 2026: $2,580,960
Kincaid comes into the 2023 season with some pretty big expectations. He's expected add a dynamic element to the Bills' passing attack that will elevate Josh Allen and co. in terms of production, scheme, and strategy.
As with most picks outside the top-10, it's an affordable contract that allows the Bills to manage the salary cap/roster in an efficient manner.
We were also given the details of seventh-round pick, cornerback Alex Austin, who also signed on May 12. Austin's deal totals $3,917,784 and it includes a $77,784 signing bonus. His base salaries total $750k in 2023, $915k in 2024, $1.030 million in 2025, and $1.145 million in 2026.
