Bills bring back a familiar fan-favorite look for Week 6 vs. Falcons, and Bills Mafia couldn’t be more excited
Bills Mafia has to be thrilled with the latest team update.
The Buffalo Bills are making their final preparations for an upcoming showdown against the Atlanta Falcons. Buffalo is looking to bounce back after a rough showing against the New England Patriots, where it seemed like the team couldn’t get anything going throughout its contest.
The team announced it’s bringing back a fan-favorite for the Week 6 contest against the Atlanta Falcons, which has the fan base more than a little excited for the matchup. The Bills confirmed the return of the Standing Buffalo throwback uniforms.
As the Buffalo Bills reported, the “Standing Buffalo helmet features a white shell with a red bison silhouette decal on the sides separated by a red stripe down the middle, bordered by blue. It will pair with an all-white uniform with classic red and blue stripes on the sleeves and pants.”
Historic throwbacks return for Buffalo in Week 6
The historic throwback was first worn from the early 1960s through 1972 and was used for road games during that stretch. It hasn’t been worn since the 2021 season, a home victory for Buffalo against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8.
During that game, Allen finished going 29-for-42 with 249 yards and two passing touchdowns while adding eight carries for 55 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The Atlanta Falcons announced that they will also wear their 1966 throwback uniforms, featuring red helmets with black jerseys and white pants for the first time in 2025.
Buffalo has a bit of history on its side heading into the matchup, as the team is 11-4 since 2017 when playing indoors, along with a +76 point differential. Buffalo needs to bounce back in a big way, and the game against the Falcons is the perfect time to do so.
It’s a motivating way for the Bills to be better than they were versus New England. Costly penalties and miscues while wearing their brand-new Nike Rivalries jerseys spoiled the evening for Bills Mafia, who were hoping the team could pull out a victory.
