Of all the players from the Buffalo Bills that get noticed, perhaps none is more impressive with less conversation than nose tackle DaQuan Jones.

Only one season in Buffalo, and Jones quietly established himself as not only one of the best defenders on the team overall, but the best against the run.

Before the end of the season, Jones finished with one of his best overall seasons as a nine-year veteran.

In 16 starts, Jones finished with 14 QB pressures, 11 QB hits, 2.0 sacks, three tackles for loss. Finishing with the highest PFF grade of any interior Bills defender and one of the highest against the runs.

A big evidence of his true value was his absence in the playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Buffalo Bills defense surrendering 172 yards on the ground.

Now entering what will be his tenth NFL season, Jones mans a Bills defensive line of one of the lesser talked about units in football. Featuring players like Von Miller, Gregory Rousseau, Ed Oliver and AJ Epenesa.

With Jones returning for his second season with the Bills, the likelihood will be that he stays as an non talked about force on the defense.

In what will be a frugal offseason for the Bills, Jones enters what is also the final year of his contract. If his play continues, he will be far to valuable to let go.
