The Buffalo Bills need receivers. It's a known fact like "The sky is blue" or "Shane Gillis is the best comedian in the world today."

The Bills are in a spot, in my opinion, where they should do all they can to either acquire a star receiver or trade up in the draft to get one of the big names in this class. Today, we do the latter in this mock draft where Brandon Beane says "Screw it, let's do it" and makes a massive trade.

Round 1, Pick 4 (projected trade with Arizona Cardinals): WR Marvin Harrison Jr, Ohio State

  • Cardinals receive: Picks No. 28, 60, and 133 in 2024, 2025 first, second, sixth round picks
  • Bills receive: No. 4 pick

Harrison is the best receiver in this class by a comfortable margin, and the best receiver prospect since Calvin Johnson. Getting aggressive and making a Julio Jones-esc jump to draft Harrison and pair him with Josh Allen would be the best move the Bills have made since trading up to draft Allen in 2018.

Round 4, Pick 128: DT Leonard Taylor III, Miami (FL)

Taylor was tremendous at getting to the quarterback from the interior in 2023 with the Hurricanes. Having someone who can be an interior disruptor to opposing pass games next to Ed Oliver would be a great addition.

Round 5, Pick 144: WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, Georgia

The Bills still need another outside receiver. Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakir. Rosemy-Jacksaint only had 45 targets all season, but he caught 34 passes- seven of which were deep catches and four went for touchdowns. Buffalo would almost certainly need to add a veteran to be the predominant starter on the outside, or bump either Shakir or Samuel to be the No. 2 perimeter receiver, Rosemy-Jacksaint would be a really good rotational piece who may be able to inherit the throne of the No. 2 receiver in the offense.

Round 5, Pick 160: S Beau Brade, Maryland

Brade is a versatile safety who could provide run coverage and be bumped up into the box. He can be lined up deep, in the slot, in the box- that type of movability across the defense is something that Sean McDermott could take advantage of.

Round 5, Pick 163: CB Dwight McGlothern, Arkansas

McGlothern is one of the best pure coverage cornerbacks in the draft. Whether it be man or zone, he thrived in 2023 at Arkansas. He allowed a passer rating of just 51.2, and allowed just 12 receptions on 25 targets. Late-round defensive backs seem to blossom in Buffalo, and McGlothern would be a perfect addition to the secondary.
