In case you didn't know, Buffalo, New York gets a little cold.

I know, this is shockingly new information.

In the town of Buffalo, a certain football team called the Buffalo Bills plays games in said cold, in outside games, often times in snow this time of year. It was cold in the Wild Card game against the Broncos, and it was cold in the Divisional Round game against the Ravens as well. Buffalo is still playing football, while those teams aren't.

Sunday's AFC Championship Game in Kansas City is also going to be cold. The forecasted high for the day is a balmy 35 degrees, with the temperature quickly dropping into the 20s over the course of the game.

If the Bills are able to finally exorcise their demons and get past the Chiefs to get to their first Super Bowl since 1994, it won't be played in an outdoor venue in cold weather. The game is set to be played in the Super Dome in New Orleans.

Still, it looks like Buffalo is already arriving on Bourbon Street.

First and foremost, this is a serious weather event that's taking place, not to be taken lightly. For the first time ever, the National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for a number of counties and parishes in the New Orleans area.

"Words that I never thought would come out of my mouth," meteorologist Donald Jones said in a live online briefing from the National Weather Service office.

That aside, it looks like Buffalo is already arriving in New Orleans. The spirit of Josh Allen is riding in the sky on the back of a charging bison, bringing snow wherever he shall roam. Maybe it's foreshadowing for things still to come, but one thing's for sure — there isn't another team in the NFL that would be as acclimated to snow as the Bills.
