The Bills sent the Jets home last weekend with their tails between their legs, handing them a 40-14 beat down that saw the Buffalo offense explode for 21 points in the third quarter. They've continued their trend of second-half performances, consistently showing that they can adapt after halftime.

In the game, Aaron Rodgers didn't seem to have a great time. Rodgers completed only 12 of 18 passes for 112 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. The game was so out of hand that Rodgers took a seat late in the game. On one of his interceptions was thrown to the perpetually-underrated and often-slept on Christian Benford. At the end of the play, Rodgers threw a late hit out of bounds, was flagged for it, and now has had a fine come down from the league.

As if the play didn't go poorly enough for Rodgers, a fine adds a whole other level of insult to it.

Things didn't go the way the Jets wanted them to go this season. Thinking they were going all-in on Rodgers by trading for his longtime partner in crime Davante Adams, the Jets enter the last weekend of the season with a 4-12 record.

It's honestly shocking how far the Bills are ahead of the rest of the division this season. At 13-3, they enter the final week of the regular season five games ahead of the second place Miami Dolphins, who they beat handily in both meetings. The Jets have a long offseason ahead of them, and will have to take a long look at their future plans to determine where the franchise goes from here. Meanwhile, the Bills appear to have a stranglehold on the division, winning their fifth-straight AFC East title. It's Buffalo's division until someone takes it from them.
