Buffalo sent Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, and that left them without any boundary threat. Even after drafting Keon Coleman out of Florida State in the 2024 NFL Draft, many Bills fans still believe acquiring one more receiver would be a good idea.
One name that has floated around trade rumors is Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos, but there has been no conversations of that happening. At least not yet.
Sources tell A to Z Sports that the Bills haven't made any calls to the Broncos inquiring about Sutton. This doesn't mean there isn't any internal interest from Buffalo towards the Pro Bowl receiver, but they aren't one of the teams that has made inquiries thus far.
As I reported for USA Today, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Rams both reached out to Denver about Sutton, but were shut down.
The star receiver is currently seeking a new contract and is unhappy with where things stand between he and the Broncos. He only has $2 million in guaranteed money remaining on his current contract, and did not attend voluntary workouts. He was a Pro Bowler in 2019, and has consistently been one of the league's best wideouts despite a constant rotating door at the quarterback position.
Sutton is coming off a year in which he had a career-high 10 touchdowns. An aerial attack with Josh Allen distributing the ball to Sutton and Coleman, as well as Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Dalton Kincaid would give the Bills one of the deepest collections of pass catchers in football should things change between now and the regular season.
