The Buffalo Bills have one of the very best QBs in the entire NFL. If you’re a fan from the drought era, or even a fan from the Jim Kelly days, you fully understand the value that the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has brought to the table during his tenure in Buffalo.

Before playing a single snap, Allen had to overcome nearly insurmountable feats to even arrive in the league. By now, everyone has heard the story. Allen had no offers coming out of high school, played in JUCO, and then went on to play in Wyoming before ultimately being drafted by the Bills.

Josh Allen has a history of proving doubters wrong

Even then, Allen and the Buffalo Bills front office were ridiculed, claiming that the gunslinger from California wouldn’t be able to make it in the league. From “the wrong Josh” to an infamous article saying that, “If Josh Allen succeeds, the Bills will have outsmarted basically all regular humans and the entirety of math itself“. With such drastic backlash, the publication has since changed their headline.

With the superstar QB winning MVP during a season in which his peers voted him “most overrated,” it’s been a really fun time to be a Bills fan.

You’d think, with everything the superstar QB has overcome, how he’s proven time and time again that he’s up for the challenge, we still find it funny that the superstar QB is having his abilities downplayed.

With training camp wrapping up and the preseason nearly underway, now is the time when a lot of big accounts give their rankings on different players or positions in the league. This time, it was ranking the top quarterbacks in the NFL. Even if you hate Josh Allen, it’s hard to argue he’s anywhere outside the top 3 for QBs across the league.

Now, while we understand this is from a fantasy perspective, it’s still wild nonetheless. Josh Allen has been a premier player (even in fantasy) over the past few seasons, and to suggest he’d fall even after an MVP season is mind-boggling. I mean, if you want to wait until the 6th round of your fantasy and Josh Allen and Brock Purdy are available, I am taking Josh 10 times out of 10.

Josh Allen is a top-3 QB in the NFL (and he’s not 3)

However, DraftKings Sportsbook not only put Allen outside of the top 3, but they also ranked him in the “C” category. In no world on this beautiful planet is Josh Allen worse than these NFL QBs: Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy, Baker Mayfield, CJ Stroud, Dak Prescott, and Jared Goff.

I am not saying Josh Allen is better than all of those QBs, but I am saying that all those QBs are not better than Josh Allen. Just take a look at his “comparative” QBs for a sense of how off-the-wall insane this ranking is. Outside of the guys mentioned above, Allen falls with the likes of Justin Herbert, Jordan Love, Matthew Stafford, JJ McCarthy, and Trevor Lawrence.

#1 best trash talker in the league

Not only was Josh Allen voted most overrated by his peers, but the superstar QB also got the honor of being awarded as the #1 trash talker in the league. When pressed on the blatant ragebait, DraftKings offered a 1 word answer for their rankings: talent.

National accounts are slamming the QB just 1 year removed from seeing what he was able to do on a football field when the doubters were in full swing. It’s nothing new from the MVP QB who will, we believe, rise to the occasion once again.

Death, taxes, and Josh Allen proving the entire world wrong. For now, all that’s left to do is wait. Allen is ready, the team seems hungry, light the league on fire #17.
