The Buffalo Bills have made another signing, and it's their second signing of a former Charger in as many days.
The Bills have signed defensive lineman Austin Johnson to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, per Ian Rapaport.
Bills defensive lineman Da'Quan Jones shared his happiness to be playing alongside his former teammate in a post on X.
Johnson is entering his ninth season in the NFL. He was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, where he appeared in all 16 regular season games from 2017-19.
Johnson joined the Giants in 2020 and spent the next two seasons, appearing in all 33 games from 2020-21. He then signed with the Chargers ahead of the 2022 season. He missed nine games with injury, but played in all 17 games in 2023. Johnson has 241 career tackles, and was credited with 17 defensive stops in 2023.
