The Buffalo Bills have a problem at the linebacker position.

While it was only the preseason, the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers taught us a few things. First, the team doesn't have an answer yet for Tremaine Edmunds' replacement. And second, the offensive line needs some serious help.

With cut-down days rapidly approaching, Buffalo brought in some key depth at the linebacker decision. While it isn't a splash signing, depth is important, especially for this already thinning unit.

Aaron Wilson reported that the Bills have signed LB DaShaun White after bringing him in for a visit on Monday.

White finished his 2022 campaign with the Oklahoma Sooners with 90 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, two INTs, and six pass breakups. The talented linebacker went undrafted after starting in 49 games throughout his collegiate career.

After going undrafted, White tested his luck in the USFL by signing with the Michigan Panthers where he recorded seven tackles.

Time is against him as he will need to get up to speed rather quickly ahead of the team's third and final preseason game. This will be his dress rehearsal to make the roster on a linebacker unit that consists of Matt Milano, Terrell Bernard, Tyrel Dodson,  Travian Howard, Baylon Specter

Don't let White know that he's a long shot. Almost immediately after the announcement was made he took to Twitter/X with a special message for the fanbase. While it was just a few words, he fully understands the Bills Mafia.

His tweet was flooded with kind responses, congratulating him on being able to continue his lifelong dream of making it to the NFL. Everyone loves an underdog story, it'll be up to White to see if he has what it takes to compete with this team.

While this was merely a depth signing, at least the team has made some kind of move at the linebacker position.
