The Buffalo Bills have been very active when it comes to making roster moves this offseason.

They released several veterans in the last week, including Jordan Poyer, Mitch Morse, and Tre'Davious White, and they got a gift from Von Miller as he willingly took a pay cut to help Buffalo get under the cap.

With the Bills now having more money to work with than originally anticipated, they should go on the offensive and make a splash trade.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly listening to calls pertaining to a Diontae Johnson trade. And after seeing the Cleveland Browns acquire Jerry Jeudy for just a pair of day three draft picks, Buffalo should pick up the phone and see how much (or how little) they could give up to acquire the talented Johnson.

Considering Johnson has put together a better career thus far than Jeudy, he would likely garner something closer to a fourth-round pick for Pittsburgh to consider the trade. Johnson has a 1,000 yard season under his belt, Jeudy doesn't. Johnson also had three more touchdowns last season than Jeudy. However, Johnson's 51 catches in 2023 were a career low, but the Steelers also had arguably the worst quarterback play in the league.

Having a perimeter duo of Stefon Diggs and Diontae Johnson combined with Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid inside would give the Bills a better group of receivers than they had last year. Plus, it would leave the option on the table to draft another receiver in the middle of the draft and focus on other needs early.
