With the first wave of NFL free agency behind us, it's time to turn our attention to the 2024 NFL Draft.

The draft will get underway on April 25 in Detroit, MI.

The Buffalo Bills have the No. 28 overall selection in this year's draft after getting bounced from the playoffs by the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round last season.

Entering the draft, ESPN thinks there are three key needs that stick out for the Bills — safety, wide receiver, and defensive end.

From ESPN: The Bills addressed most of their needs in some capacity early in free agency, but those moves don't mean the Bills' biggest draft needs have changed much. Adding to the wide receiver room to replace Gabe Davis, who signed with the Jaguars, is key for the offense — even after signing Curtis Samuel. General manager Brandon Beane described Samuel as a versatile player who can "play outside, inside, backfield." Getting an infusion of young talent at safety and defensive end will be important for the future, as well.

Since the Bills are picking near the end of the first round, they'll likely go with a best player available approach, which makes it hard to predict who the selection will be.

ESPN, however, thinks that Kansas defensive end Austin Booker could be a solid option for the Bills outside of the first round.

From ESPNProspect to fill a need outside Round 1: Austin Booker, DE, Kansas. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder has a devastating first step to his pass-rush moves and could learn from one of the best ever in Von Miller with the Bills.

Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell could be a player to watch for the Bills in the first round.
