ESPN started the week by making some "big predictions" for the teams that have been eliminated from the playoffs.
And their "big prediction" for the Buffalo Bills involves the 2024 NFL Draft.
ESPN thinks the Bills will use their first round pick on a wide receiver.
From ESPN: The Bills will use their first-round pick on a wide receiver. Some possibilities include LSU's Brian Thomas Jr., Washington's Ja'Lynn Polk and South Carolina's Xavier Legette.
It's a prediction that makes sense considering ESPN thinks Buffalo's biggest "under-the-radar" offseason priority should be adding a No. 2 wide receiver with Gabe Davis set to hit free agency.
The Bills will have the No. 28 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, which means it's hard to project at this point in the offseason who they might take in the first round. Even if we're fairly certain they'll take a wide receiver (and we aren't certain), it's too early to know if some of the wide receivers that ESPN mentioned will fall to the Bills at the end of the first round. We'll have a much better idea after the draft combine later this winter.
