Bills injury report: Surprise addition could shake up the gameday roster as the team prepares to take on the Browns in Week 16
Not the best news coming out of One Bills Drive.
Why can’t the Buffalo Bills have nice things?
The latest injury report from the team included a surprise last-second addition in tight end Dalton Kincaid. He’s one of the top weapons in the offense and has often been injured. While it’s early in the week, there’s still some panic about his availability in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns.
Quarterback Josh Allen can’t be thrilled to see the news, as Kincaid was unable to practice in any capacity on Wednesday. Head coach Sean McDermott spoke to the media ahead of practice and did not indicate anything about Kincaid and his injury, making matters even worse.

Observations
There was some good news, though, as superstar cornerback Christian Benford was able to practice. He suffered a toe injury that sidelined him in the Week 15 comeback win over the New England Patriots. He’s trending in the right direction and would give the defense a huge boost upon his return.
Offensive tackle Dion Dawkins was unable to practice while dealing with an illness, but we saw the same with Mitch Tribusky last week, and he was able to get back to full health. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and kicker Matt Prater were known to be unable to practice.
Buffalo signed kicker Michael Badgley to the practice squad shortly after the Prater news broke. In a corresponding move, the team released cornerback M.J. Devonshire.
The team also opened the 21-day practice window for wide receiver Mecole Hardman, giving Allen another weapon back in the mix. It’s unclear if he’ll be able to suit up on Sunday, so that’s another name to keep an eye out for as the week progresses.
Overall, mostly good news. It just stings at the thought of missing Kincaid for another week. Here’s hoping that the following injury reports give the fan base some good news leading up to a pivotal showdown against the Cleveland Browns.
For now, all the Bills can do is hope the injury luck finally turns and that Kincaid’s name doesn’t stay on the report for much longer.
