The Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns are just days away from the highly anticipated Week 16 showdown. If you’re wondering if you’ll be able to watch the game, we hooked you up with a broadcast map that’ll show where across the country it’s showing.

Buffalo is coming off one of its most thrilling wins of the season, a 21-point comeback against the New England Patriots in Foxborough. One of the main talking points of the contest was how quarterback Josh Allen was able to, once again, put on his Superman cape and lead the team to a win.

Leading up to the Cleveland Browns matchup, the Browns pose a different challenge than the Patriots did. While their record doesn’t indicate it, the Browns have one of the best players in football in defensive end Myles Garrett.

Garrett, much like Allen, has been a one-man wrecking crew this season.

In fact, Garrett is one sack away from tying the single-season sack record, something that Allen wants to spoil on Sunday. Specifically, Allen isn’t interested in being part of someone else’s highlight tape.

“No, I haven’t thought about it,” Allen said. “I do like highlight tapes, but I don’t like being a part of other people’s highlight tapes.”

Myles Garrett and Josh Allen have met before

Allen was actually already part of Garrett’s “graveyard,” being sacked when the two teams had met in Detroit in 2022.

However, another sack on Allen has Garrett tying the record, and two sacks would give him the record outright.

The reigning MVP fully understands that the team must game-plan against Garrett. While Allen has been exceptional this season, there’s a chance that he’s not the best player on the field on Sunday: Garrett has been that good. Allen showered Garrett with praise leading up to the game.

“I mean, he’s an absolutely tremendous football player,” Allen said. “He’s one of the greatest of all time. He is a force to be reckoned with. And we’ve got to be ready for everything that they can throw at us. But you have to be aware of where 95’s at at all times.”

McDermott has some strong words about Garrett

It wasn’t just Allen who was offering praise for the superstar pass rusher. Head coach Sean McDermott was asked about the Browns’ defense, calling Garrett a “special player.”

“I mean, he’s a Hall of Famer. He’s on the verge of what? He needs two sacks or whatever to break the record,” McDermott asked. “That’s a hallmark type of season, right? You turn the tape on, you’re watching crossover games, and Cleveland shows up, their defense. And overall, they play hard, they’re talented. They’re talented up front. They’re talented in the back end, in particular with the corner position. It’s a good combination. And then you watch him, and you’re going, `That’s special.’ There’s only a few people with that, who have ever done that in the league.”

Respect will be exchanged all week, but once the ball is snapped, that will be the end of it. Garrett may be chasing history, but Allen and the Bills are chasing something much bigger.

Sunday’s matchup will come down to whether Buffalo can keep its MVP upright long enough to control the game.

If the Bills do, they’ll have a chance to not only walk out with a win, but with their postseason hopes alive.
