The Buffalo Bills are undefeated through the early stages of the 2025 NFL season after defeating the Ravens in Week 1 and the Jets in Week 2. Allen didn’t set the league on fire in Week 2, but he played smart, fundamental football while limiting his turnovers.

The franchise quarterback finished his day going 14-of-25 with 148 yards and no touchdowns while adding six carries for 59 yards, including a 40-yard run early in the contest — one of his longest runs in his entire career.

However, it’s what Allen was seen doing immediately after the game that’s turning heads, for all the right reasons. In the tunnel, Allen spotted a young member of the Bills Mafia. The QB knelt and signed an autograph in a moment that the young fan will remember for the rest of his life. A classy move from the face of the organization.

Josh Allen goes above and beyond for the Bills Mafia

This wasn’t the first, and won’t be the last, time that Allen has taken time out of his schedule to make sure the younger members of the beloved fan base get a special moment with the quarterback.

During the offseason training camp, while at St. John Fisher University, Allen spent the final day after practice walking around the entire field to give fans a few precious moments. You can tell by the looks on their faces that it’s a life-changing experience, even if it may seem like a simple hello or a signature from their favorite player.

Sometimes, Allen just wants to spend a few extra moments signing autographs.

Reflecting on Allen’s journey, it’s hard not to bring up his MVP speech when thinking about how the quarterback has given back. After securing the award, Allen was taken to a side room where he had a video waiting for him from children at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.

Before they could even mutter a word, Allen remembered the names and faces of the kids, and you could see him getting emotional as the video continued. For these children, specifically, the relationship between Allen and the kids was created by the Bills Mafia.

Bills Mafia gives back in a big way after Allen’s grandmother passes away

After a game against the Seahawks in 2020, news broke that Allen had lost his grandmother before the contest, and the fan base followed it up by donating huge amounts of money to the hospital in his late grandmother’s honor. What resulted was well over $1 million in donations since 2020, and the hospital renamed one of its wings in honor of Allen’s grandmother. That bond was made possible by Bills Mafia’s generosity. It makes his moment after securing the MVP just that much greater.

Allen is the franchise quarterback the fanbase had been eagerly anticipating for years, and he seems worth every second of those dreaded drought years. He fully understands how important the community and fan base are to the team and organization, and he rarely passes up a chance to stop if he sees a young fan hoping for a signature or high-five.

Allen is really, really good at football. However, he might just be an even better person.
