The Buffalo Bills will be playing in one of the final home games inside Highmark Stadium. It’s a decorated venue that has had a handful of Super Bowl-caliber teams play inside the venue.

Ahead of the upcoming Week 17 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Josh Allen talked about playing in one of the final games there. Additionally, the reigning MVP opened up about one of the coolest new features in the upcoming stadium, something he’s very much looking forward to taking advantage of, and it’s hard to blame him.

“Obviously, a lot of love, a lot of energy, you can feel it in there when you play,” Allen said. “Excited for obviously the new stadium and hopefully the no wind in there, that’ll be really fun. Going to enjoy these last two here and know that it’s a pretty fun time for our fans and ourselves to be in the stadium.”

Allen and the Bills have been dominant inside Highmark Stadium, with the reigning MVP having a passer rating of 97.2 with 14,426 yards and 120 touchdowns with 44 interceptions in 63 home games in his career. When Allen plays in Buffalo, magic happens.

Talking about magic, there’s already been a handful of exciting moments to say goodbye to Highmark. In Week 1, the team mounted a valiant fourth-quarter comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, with Allen poking fun at the fanbase for leaving early.

Adding to the magic of the farewell tour, Buffalo also mounted a huge comeback against the Cincinnati Bengals. This time, fans were sure not to leave the stadium early.

With two more matchups left on the schedule at home, including the return of the beloved red helmets in Week 18, Allen and the Bills will look to add another unforgettable chapter to Highmark’s history. The stadium may be nearing the end of its run, but the moment it creates and the magic Allen brings inside it are far from finished.
