It still rings true for Allen, who has far surpassed any expectations both on and off the football field. Despite practice ending, the MVP QB spent some extra time with fans, making sure that they feel as special as he feels in a city that has more than embraced him.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane for a second, because these kids are anything but ordinary. A few seasons ago, it was confirmed to the media that Josh Allen lost his grandmother after a win against the Seattle Seahawks during the COVID season.

Allen shined in the 44-34 win with 415 yards in the air and 14 on the ground with four total touchdowns. Immediately following the game, Bills Mafia did what Bills Mafia does best and donated in boatloads to the tune of over $1 million by the end of 2020.

What’s more, the donations not only helped desperate patients in need, but the hospital changed an entire name of a wing of their hospital to honor Allen’s late grandmother and to remind the world of the charitable donations given by a fanbase that has a history of being ridiculed for their pregame antics. ‘Patricia Allen Pediatric Recovery Wing’ has already made a profound impact on these kids’ lives.

Make no mistake, Bills Mafia is much more than just table-smashing; they are the lifeblood of the organization and one of the most giving fan bases in any sport.

When Josh Allen won his MVP award, there was a special gift waiting for him just moments after winning. It was children at Oishei Children’s Hospital who wanted to let the QB know just how much he means to them, and what the MVP award meant to the city.

The MVP QB has the weight of the world on his shoulders, but makes sure to make these kids feel extra special.

Now, despite a long practice with thousands screaming his name, Allen took the time out of his day (albeit sweaty) to give back to those brave children. While it may seem like Allen is just spending a few minutes signing autographs, the impact he’s made and will continue to make on those kids’ lives is unfathomable. Just a few brief words can brighten up their day, and Allen did exactly that.

Josh Allen, once again, proved why he’s one of the very best in the NFL. Not just as a player, but as a person. There’s no other player whom I would want to lead this city or franchise. Forever grateful for what #17 is able to do both on and off the field.
