An excellent day for Josh Allen, maybe not the best for some of his teammates.

It seems the NFL couldn’t find any reason to fine Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen for what he was alleged to have done during the Week 13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Buffalo ran roughshod over the Steelers, amassing almost 250 yards on the ground, but the biggest story of the game was when defensive tackle Cam Heyward went berserk on Allen, claiming the quarterback kneed him during a pileup. Unfortunately for Heyward, the NFL didn’t find any evidence of that, vindicating Allen completely and totally.

Heyward was claiming Allen was a dirty player without going as far as saying the words. Now Allen is cleared, and Heyward is looking like he’s got a little bit of egg on his face.

Heyward did, however, get hit with some bad news by the NFL for what he was caught doing during the game. The NFL fined the veteran $11,593 for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting.

Two of his teammates were also fined, as wide receiver DK Metcalf was fined $14,191 for unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture, and linebacker Payton Wilson was fined $7,066 for unnecessary roughness/blindside block.

It wasn’t just the Steelers that got hit with some brutal news by the NFL, as both defensive end A.J. Epenesa and wide receiver Gabe Davis were fined by the NFL. Davis was fined $6,500 for unnecessary roughness/use of the helmet, and Epenesa was fined $11,593 for unsportsmanlike conduct/taunting.

The recent fines weren’t the first, and probably won’t be the last for the Bills this season. Defensive end Joey Bosa has been fined multiple times this season, and running back Ty Johnson even saw himself on the fine list after a hilarious touchdown celebration.

At the end of the day, Allen walks away cleared of any wrongdoing, while multiple players across both sidelines find themselves paying the price. With December football heating up, it’s safe to assume the league office will stay busy over the course of the rest of the season.
