Keon Coleman has perfect four-word response on his plans with Josh Allen after impressive touchdown in joint practice
Keon Coleman showed up and showed out during the joint practice.
Keon Coleman was a bright spot during the team’s joint practice with the Chicago Bears. Early and often, he made his presence felt and ultimately wound up with the play of the day. After Coleman burned his defender on the line of scrimmage with a double move, the Bills receiver extended to secure a one-handed touchdown from a beautiful pass by Josh Allen.
While he had the play of the activity on the field, Coleman doubled it up with perhaps even a better response: “Let’s make it unguardable.”
The mic drop moment came when the Bills receiver was asked about his relationship with Allen, “Just knowing where he wants me at, what type of ball he likes to throw, what type of ball I like to catch. What’s best for each one of us. Let’s make it unguardable.”
Keon Coleman is on a mission
Heading into his second season, it’s clear that the organization views him as a key piece of the offense moving forward, and it was on full display. When asked about his performance in the practice, Coleman kept it short, sweet, and to the point. “It went pretty good. Good routes, good throws, good catches, and a lot of making plays.”
One of the bigger aspects of his game that Coleman looks to improve on is his separation. Winning the battle against his defender was great, but for Keon, it’s been a recurring theme in his game during training camp. “I mean, we’ve been doing that all camp, so. It ain’t nothing but another route.”
The ultimate goal is raising the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year, and Buffalo believes they have the team to do that. For that to happen, Coleman is going to need to take that important next step in this offense. He seems more than ready for the challenge, and with the season just a few weeks away, we’re more than ready to see what he’ll be able to accomplish.
