The Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia got to watch the Seattle Seahawks beat the brakes off the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. While the Bills weren’t in the big game, it was fun to watch a division rival lose after so much trash-talking leading up to the Super Bowl.

To make matters worse for the New England Patriots, their division rival, the Bills, got a massive win after the Super Bowl ended, just hours after the big game. Buffalo, according to DraftKings Sportsbook, has the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl in 2026, trailing only the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams.

As ESPN reported, if the Rams and Seahawks odds hold until the beginning of the season, it would be the longest for a preseason favorite on record since at least 1977.

The Bills’ Super Bowl odds are sitting at 11-1, with a +550 in the conference and a -110 in the division. To put that into perspective, the Patriots fell to the sixth-best odds to win in 2026, with 13-1 odds and +650 to win the conference and +110 to win the division.

Buffalo was one bad call away from the AFC Championship game

The Buffalo Bills fell flat in the divisional round against the Denver Broncos, ultimately seeing New England take on the Bo Nix-less Broncos on their way to a Super Bowl.

It’s hard for Bills Mafia not to imagine what would’ve happened if the referees made the right call and wide receiver Brandin Cooks actually caught the ball. It would’ve led to a chip-shot field goal where Buffalo could’ve gotten to the AFC Championship game, where anything could have happened between the Bills and the Patriots.

Instead, they watched from home after another devastating postseason loss.

Fortunately for Buffalo and the Bills Mafia, as long as quarterback Josh Allen is at the helm, the window to reach the Super Bowl will be firmly in reach. Buffalo has its work cut out for it this offseason, with a less-than-ideal cap situation and more than one pending free agent.

An unconventional but satisfying win over New England

Regardless, the Bills found a way to get a win over their division rival after the Super Bowl, and that little victory tastes oh so sweet.

And that’s the part Bills Mafia can hang its hat on. Even after another gut-punching ending, Buffalo is still sitting at the grown-ups’ table in the AFC, still viewed as a legitimate Super Bowl threat, and still ahead of New England when it actually matters.

The road won’t be easy, the margin for error is and will remain thin, and the offseason will be anything but quiet, but the window remains wide open.

For now, the Patriots are licking their wounds, the Bills are near the top of the odds board, and sometimes, that’s a small but satisfying win worth savoring.
