The Buffalo Bills will have quite the task in the AFC East this season. The Miami Dolphins took a major step forward last year and look more talented this season from a roster standpoint. The New York Jets and New England Patriots had their issues, but they are both very competitive teams.

Not to mention, the Jets added Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. For New England, they have more offensive talent to go along with a gritty defense. Can't count out Bill Belichick – ever. The Bills have been consistently one of the best teams in the AFC since the emergence of Josh Allen at QB. They haven't been able to fully climb the mountain, though.

It is time for them to make it to the Super Bowl – considering their extremely impressive talent. Dan Hanzus of NFL.com agrees with that sentiment. He believes that there is a lot of pressure on Buffalo to perform in the postseason this year. Hanzus ranks the Bills as the team with the most urgency in the 2023 season.

The Bills have been knocking on the door for a while now. Four straight trips to the playoffs, each run ending short of the Super Bowl. The "13 Seconds" loss to the Chiefs in the 2021 Divisional Round was pure pain for a franchise that's no stranger to heartbreak, but last postseason's home thumping at the hands of the Bengals was somehow more dispiriting. Is Buffalo's once wide-open Super Bowl window suddenly closing? Playing in a widely improved AFC East, there's a huge amount of urgency facing the entire Buffalo operation entering 2023. Look no further than the recent drama around star receiver Stefon Diggs as an example of potential cracks in the structure. Pressure can do that to even the most solid of foundations. — Dan Hanzus

He's absolutely right. The Bills are under pressure due to the increasing talent pool in the AFC. In past seasons, they've been able to outplay teams due to physical ability and depth. Now, teams are catching up, and the Bills will have to play even cleaner to get victories in the playoffs. It's Super Bowl appearance or bust for Buffalo in 2023.
