Things have dramatically shifted over the past few years for the Buffalo Bills.
Once Josh Allen asserted his presence in the NFL QB hierarchy, it seems the entire world wants to see more of him. That's perfectly evident in the NFL's recent schedule release.
For yet another season, Buffalo is loaded up with primetime football games. This is a far cry from a few years ago when the team couldn't get on primetime football more than once or twice in a season.
The Bills have six primetime games slated for the upcoming season. What that means is Buffalo will be on primetime more than they will have a normal 1 pm ET kickoff game. So far, that's only limited to five matchups. While there are a few TBDs on the schedule, it's amazing to see how far this team has come. In fact, Buffalo is tied for the most primetime games this season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and the Dallas Cowboys.
The division is going to be as competitive as ever as the Dolphins look to take the next step in Tua Tagovailoa's development and the already impressive New York Jets add a superstar quarterback in Aaron Rodgers to the mix.
Nevertheless, it's an exciting time to be a Bills fan. We are so far removed from the 17-year playoff drought and nearly 3 decades of subpar quarterback play. The entire McDermott and Beane era is going to be highlighted by their decision to draft Josh Allen, despite what some fans wanted that fateful night in 2018.
While national media pundits and NFL experts write off the Bills and predict a step back from the organization, the team will look to use that as fuel. Josh Allen and the Bills are looking to claim their fourth consecutive AFC East crown. More importantly, they want to bring home Buffalo's first-ever Super Bowl.
America, seemingly, loves to watch the Bills in action. That's precisely what they're going to get next season.
