The Buffalo Bills have been rumored as a potential landing spot for free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr for several weeks now.
Beckham is recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in February during Super Bowl LVI.
The former LSU star is expected to be ready to hit the field in mid-December. He's reportedly looking for a multi-year deal and a place where he can finish his NFL career.
Buffalo, with a solid young core of players led by superstar quarterback Josh Allen, would seemingly be a great destination for the three-time Pro Bowler.
There's one issue, however, that could prevent the Bills from signing Beckham.

Pro Football Focus NFL insider Doug Kyed thinks Buffalo's lack of salary cap space next season could be what keeps OBJ from signing with the Bills (on a long-term deal).
The Bills could use him, despite having the second-highest-graded wide receiver corps. Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is accounting for over 35% of Buffalo’s passing yardage, and while Gabe Davis has been a dominant force at times, 37.9% of his total receiving yards this season came in one game. Over the course of seven games, Davis has topped 40 yards only three times. Other receiving options, including tight end Dawson Knox and wide receivers Isaiah McKenzie and Khalil Shakir, have all been limited to under 200 yards this season.
Quarterback Josh Allen’s elbow injury suffered Sunday also could complicate matters, depending on the severity of the ailment.
Signing Beckham to a long-term contract wouldn’t be simple for Buffalo, which currently has -$4.26 million in salary cap space entering next season.
Buffalo doesn't necessarily need Beckham this season. And with OBJ looking for a multi-year deal, it's probably not in the Bills' best interest to add more of a burden to their future salary cap situation.
If the Bills can sign OBJ to a one-year deal, then this is something that would make more sense. But that's an option that likely won't be available to Buffalo with other teams in the mix to sign the coveted free agent.
