The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a showdown against the Patriots.
With the season well underway, the Bills are looking for their first divisional victory.
Say what you want about the lackluster offense and injuries piling up, the Bills control their own destiny.
Furthermore, comparing seasons, the Bills are actually in better shape than they were last year at the same time.
Nevertheless, it still feels like a must-win game. The division is still up for grabs as the Jets and Dolphins are having their own successful seasons as well.
In fact, looking at the division and the too-early-to-call playoff standings, the Bills are behind the Dolphins.
However, it appears that the path to victory is clear. Outside of just scoring more points than the Patriots, it's pretty black and white for what the Bills need to do
To put it into perspective, the Bills have scored 20+ points in nine of their 11 games thus far.
Another interesting stat that swings the game in the Bills' favor is the availability of Jordan Poyer.
While several players have shown up on the injury report, it appears Poyer is the Bills' key to victory
Nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, and there is a chance even if the Bills can put up 20 points that victory is not promised.
Josh Allen being off the injury report for the first time since suffering a reported UCL injury is a step in the right direction.
There's bad blood between the Bills and the Patriots. Here's hoping Josh Allen and company can make Thursday a night to remember.
Bills by a billion, or maybe just a touchdown.
