The Buffalo Bills put on a dominating performance on Sunday, defeating the Dallas Cowboys. And much of that was thanks to the solid game played by James Cook.

However, despite it all, head coach Sean McDermott snubbed the running back after the game.

In his postgame speech, McDermott acknowledge the run game, saying how the team finished with a total of 266 rushing yards. And Cook accounted for 179 of those yards.

However, despite his efforts, McDermott opted to give the game ball to quarterback Josh Allen instead.

And this isn't to say that Allen didn't play well. He had a very solid game. But even he admitted that it was a full team effort.

“I felt like the kid that didn't do anything in the class project but still got an A," Allen told reporters after the game.

Allen finished the game with seven completions for 94 yards and one touchdown. He also had eight carries for 24 yards and one touchdown.

As for Cook, he finished with 179 rushing yards on 25 carries including one rushing touchdown. He also had two receptions for 42 yards and one receiving touchdown.

Allen has gotten a lot of credit for Bills' wins this past season, so this seemed like the perfect time to highlight someone else who truly stepped up.

But regardless, Cook deserves to at least share the game ball with Allen after that game.
