The Buffalo Bills are set for action against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

In just three weeks, the Bills have been able to accomplish something no other team in NFL history has done, with more than 100 points scored, under 15 penalties, zero turnovers, more than 150 rushing yards per game, and over 250 net passing yards.

The Saints are trying to find a way to put together a win in the early stages of the 2025 season. Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins opened up on some extra motivation heading into the contest, with the Saints last beating Buffalo when they visited Orchard Park in 2017.

Ahead of the contest, head coach Sean McDermott has ruled out defensive tackle Ed Oliver, linebacker Matt Milano, and offered that offensive lineman Spencer Brown and defensive end AJ Epenesa would be questionable for the contest.

Buffalo is going to be a bit short-handed heading into the matchup.

Oliver has been unable to practice after suffering an ankle injury ahead of Week 2 against the Jets and hasn’t been able to compete since. Milano went down during the Week 2 victory and hasn’t returned to the field since.

Epenesa appeared on the injury report on Wednesday with a pectoral issue, while Brown was listed with a calf injury. Both Epenesa and Brown were limited in practice on Friday, and all eyes are going to be on their availability heading into the matchup.

Josh Allen was impacted by the latest injury development

The injuries could directly affect quarterback Josh Allen, as Brown is critical in keeping the franchise quarterback upright.

The Buffalo Bills have one of the best offensive lines in football, and Brown plays a pivotal role in keeping Allen protected in the pocket. It’s not just that; the team has one of the best run-blocking groups in the league, so it extends beyond just Allen in the passing game.

Buffalo will need its depth to step up if the team wants to keep their perfect start intact against the New Orleans Saints.
