The Buffalo Bills are bringing in some reinforcements.

When the team signed wide receiver and return man Mecole Hardman to the practice squad, there were rumblings that he would be elevated to the 53-man roster sooner rather than later.

Well, fans won’t have to wait long at all, as on Saturday the team made a few exciting roster moves, including signing Hardman to the active roster.

As was predicted, with Hardman’s signing, the team has moved on from former return man Brandon Codrington. Codrington had been a healthy scratch, and the team must like what they’ve seen from Hardman in just a few short practices.

It’s not only that; the team elevated wide receiver Gabe Davis for the upcoming matchup. Davis had been trending in the right direction and appeared to do enough in practice to warrant the call-up.

Allen, although down tight end Dalton Kincaid, is going to get a decent arsenal of weapons at his disposal.

Buffalo was banged up ahead of the matchup

Leading up to the game, Buffalo was dealing with a handful of injuries. While the Thursday injury report cleared things up, early in the week fans were worried about what kind of team would be able to get on the field, with such a wide array of injuries to both the offense and defense.

Fortunately, there are only a few players who are out, including Kincaid and defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis. The only remaining players with a designation for Sunday are cornerback Taron Johnson, defensive back Cam Lewis, and linebacker Shaq Thompson.

Wrapping up the moves the team made on Saturday, they elevated tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad and activated defensive tackle T.J. Sanders from injured reserve.

For Sanders, getting back another body, especially on the defensive front, will go a long way toward the team finding success on game day.

The reinforcements won’t fix everything overnight, but they give Buffalo a much-needed boost as the team looks to seize momentum in a crucial Week 11 matchup.
