The Buffalo Bills are, once again, back in the national spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

Earlier this offseason, superstar WR Stefon Diggs was the center of attention. It all sparked from his sideline antics toward Josh Allen in their playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. From there, Diggs tried leaving the locker room before talking to players or the media which started another media firestorm.

The offseason was dominated by cryptic messages and general uneasiness with Diggs and his current role with the Buffalo Bills. It seemed that all of that uncertainty was squashed after Diggs opened up to the media for the first time during training camp.

Now, take this with a grain of salt, during a segment on ESPN, Stephen A Smith discussed that the bad blood may not be over. In fact, he said that per his sources, Diggs wants out of Buffalo.

Granted, though Stephen A. is one of the top personalities in sports media and entertainment, he can tend to exaggerate and his "reports" don't carry the same credibility as other top NFL insiders like Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport. Even still, Smith's words are bound to create a conversation

Steven A. Smith, during his segment, called out Josh Allen and the team's inability to get over the hump the past few years.

"Last time I checked we looked at Josh Allen and we said, 'Yo man, what's going on? You in the AFC championship game a few years ago, you and Patrick Mahomes was going at it. You was supposed to be the heir apparent and stuff like that, stuff ain't work out."

Smith continued, talking about how the league is apparently moving on from thinking about Allen and instead is focusing on Burrow and Mahomes.

"Instead of thinking about Josh Allen, we're thinking about Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow going up against one another."

That's when the interview quickly turned to focus on Stefon Diggs and his apparent unhappiness with the organization. Specifically, the situation that unfolded after last year's playoff loss bleeding into training camp.

"You got Stefon Diggs, this brother all world receiver but clearly wasn't happy. Walked out, didn't want to talk to nobody. Came into training camp, they had some friction they had to get settled and all of this."

Smith continued, dropping a bombshell on his segment claiming that he has inside information that Diggs wants out of Buffalo. While he doesn't name sources, Smith is adamant that Diggs wants out.

"Brother wants out by the way. I'm just telling you what I know. I got my own sources, brother wants out, he don't want to be in Buffalo no more. I'm telling you right now, I have my sources. Stefon Diggs got to be there, but he would prefer to be gone because he's lost a level of belief in the Buffalo Bills."

Doubling down on his take and Diggs' unhappiness, Smith continued.

"I'm telling you what I know, they can deny it, I have my sources. I'm telling you what I know. But, he's not going to force his way out he knows he got to be there and they got to perform. But, he ain't feeling the Buffalo Bills the way he once did because he feels that there's a window of opportunity they may have missed out on."

This is the last thing we needed after a brutal week of injuries and subpar play. Here's hoping Diggs responds quickly and shuts down the rumors of his unhappiness.
