The Buffalo Bills have an offensive line problem. Specifically, there is no depth and I am growing increasingly concerned that this unit cannot protect Josh Allen.

Luckily, the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets also have their injury woes, but the team needs to be able to step up if they want to achieve the goal of winning the city's first-ever Super Bowl.

I previously wrote about how Brandon Beane should pick up the phone and call the Arizona Cardinals to see what the availability of OT Kelvin Beachum looks like. However, in the latest NFL development, Buffalo could look to their past in order to help bolster the offensive line.

Adam Schefter reported that nine-time Pro Bowl OT Jason Peters is not going to retire and will try his hand at his 20th NFL season.

Peters started his NFL career in Buffalo as an undrafted free agent. Throughout his impressive career, Peters has amassed 238 games with 219 starts. More recently, he started one game for Dallas while being active for 10.

Peters is old, but he could be a key depth piece on a Bills offensive line needing more bodies. Outside of the injury concerns to Spencer Brown, the uncertainty between Ryan Bates and O'Cyrus Torrence, and Brandon Shell announcing his retirement, the unit was already one of the team's weakest.

Peters could end his career where he started and help take the team to the promised land, raising the Lombardi for Buffalo would be a legendary end to a career of an all-time great.
