The Minnesota Vikings played the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 last year in a memorable game that provided one of the most exciting finishes of the 2022 NFL season.

Minnesota won the game thanks to a fumble by Josh Allen in what appeared to be the game's final moments. With the ball on the Buffalo one-yard line, Allen attempted to run a quarterback sneak to give the Bills enough room to take a knee. The fumble kept the Vikings' hopes alive and they eventually won the game in overtime.

The new Netflix docuseries "Quarterback" follows Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins during the 2022 season (as well as Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota), including the game against Buffalo.

In episode three of "Quarterback", Cousins' wife, Julie, spoke about watching Minnesota play in Buffalo. And she gave the Bills (and Bills fans) the ultimate compliment.

"I've never been to a game with an environment like that," said Julie of the Vikings' trip to Buffalo. "The stands [were] totally packed. The fans [were] standing the entire game. It was really exciting."

Cousins has been in the NFL since 2012, which is the same year he met his wife. It goes without saying that Julie and Kirk have experienced almost every environment the NFL has to offer. And after a decade of visiting opposing stadiums, it was Buffalo that made the biggest impression on Julie.

That just speaks to the environment in Buffalo. And the passion of the fans. It's often said that the NFL doesn't have college-like environments. That's true in many cases. But Buffalo is one of the few NFL teams that has an environment that would fit right in with the Big 10 or the SEC. And Julie's comments certainly add to that sentiment.
