A search for a young wide receiver talent plans to continue for the Carolina Panthers.

Carolina landed a top 30 visit with late second-round wide receiver prospect Malachi Corley out of Western Kentucky University, CBS Sports writer Josh Edwards reported Wednesday

Corley, at 5-foot-11, 210 pounds, looks like an intriguing wide receiver option for the Panthers.

In college, he collected 32 starts and was named to the first-team All-C-USA in 2023 and 2022.

Though his build makes him look more like a running back, Corley's best traits among scouts are his hands. He tracks the ball well and several talent evaluators say he has "very natural hands."

When Corley has the ball in his hands, he is a dangerous playmaker. That is how he amassed 180 catches, 2,279 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns in the last two seasons. Now, the Panthers are looking to bring that talent to Charlotte. It wouldn't hurt.

He is also scheduled to meet with the Cleveland Browns, Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.
