Carolina Panthers running Miles Sanders is taking up a new career as a recruiter. Well, at least trying to.

The newly-minted Panthers running back hopped on Up & Adams, where he was asked about the ongoing contract tango between wide receiver Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Naturally, Sanders took the moment to make a pitch to the star receiver who has been a primary target in Tampa Bay's passing game.

"If he wants to come over here, I don't mind," Sanders said. "Just don't sign back to Tampa. You can always come over here, but definitely don't go back to Tampa."

Evans is seeking an extension with Tampa Bay, as he is expected to be a free agent after the 2023 season.

If the Panthers did actually make a move for Evans, the offense — minus the offensive line — would be pretty exciting to watch. However, it remains extremely unlikely.

So for now, Sanders can keep making pitches to Evans. Who knows, maybe it may work out.
