The Carolina Panthers did something against the Indianapolis Colts they haven't done all year.

Scored a third-quarter touchdown. Yes, that isn't a joke.

The score, following a back-breaking interception leading to a touchdown, came on the Panthers' first possession of the second half. Rookie quarterback Bryce Young led the offense on a 15-play, 77-yard drive spanning nearly eight minutes. it culminated in a touchdown pass to DJ Chark Jr., who dove into the endzone, bringing the Panthers within 10 points of the Colts at the time (20-10).

Take a look at the first touchdown score of the year in the second quarter. Again, you can't make stuff like this up.

The third-quarter drive was the longest drive of the season in terms of plays and yards. It looked reminiscent of the game-winning drive against the Houston Texans in Week 8.

Young took controlled risks. The run game did its fair share. So it only feels right that the Panthers score their first third-quarter touchdown on a well-put-together offensive passion. Those appear to be rare for this version of the team.
