Tarik Cohen has been on the Carolina Panthers practice squad for a few weeks.

And naturally, people are wondering if he could make a cameo on Sunday any time soon.

Well, recently, Carolina Panthers special teams coordinator Chris Tabor hinted that the Panthers could get a dose of Cohen sooner rather than later.

"He’s ready to go," Tabor said.

Cohen is clawing his way back into the league after a series of injuries derailed what was an exciting start to his career.

Part of that comeback was Cohen signing with his hometown Panthers, and his arrival meant that maybe the Panthers could have the feel-good story of the year moving forward.

According to Tabor, Cohen is progressing at a rate that is expected, and his return could come in the coming weeks.

"He’s doing great," Tabor said. "But at the same time, he hasn’t played in three years. And, what’s he been with us now? Four weeks? So, let’s say he’s just now finishing training camp. You have to kinda put it in that picture for the player.”
