The Carolina Panthers' slate of preseason games came to a ceremonious end Friday against the Detroit Lions, which pushes the team one step closer to NFL roster cutdown day. 

For the Panthers, there was a slew of questions heading into the preseason, with a new head coach in Frank Reich, a new staff, and a host of new faces, it remained uncertain what the team may look like heading into Week 1. 

So as the NFL moves toward Week 1, it is time to take a look at the names the Panthers are parting ways with. The following players are either on IR or PUP, which means they won't count toward the 53-man roster.

  • OL Austin Corbett
  • DE Henry Anderson
