The Carolina Panthers offense under Andy Dalton already looks like it has a little more flair.
And with five minutes left in a one-possession game against the Seattle Seahawks, Dalton did what Young hadn't early in the season for the Panthers. The veteran quarterback pushed the ball downfield and connected with wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. for a 47-yard touchdown play.
On the drive, Dalton went 5-for-7, collecting 70 yards and, of course, a touchdown. Let's take a look at the play.
When Young was starting the first two weeks of the season, the offense didn't look to push the ball downfield.
With Dalton calling the shots, the Panthers look more primed to make vertical plays when it makes sense.
