The Los Angeles Chargers released their second injury report of the week on Thursday ahead of their Week 1 tilt against the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins continue to have an injury list nearly a dozen players long, but the Chargers are quite healthy. One player saw his practice status downgraded to a non-participant in Thursday's practice after a limited practice on Wednesday.

Injury report observations:

  • It's never a good sign when you're a limited participant one day and a non-participant the next. Typically, that tells you the player was injured during practice. It's going to be tough for Rumph to recover and play in time for the game if that's the case. 
  • Still no sign of JC Jackson on the injury report. That's a great indication that he'll be good to go to start the 2023 NFL season.
