On Wednesday, we found out who will be announcing one of the BearsBears'Bears' picks in 2023.
Music video director Cole Bennett will announce one of the picks for the Bears in 2023. Bennett is from the Chicago area and is known for being the creator of Lyrical Lemonade, a popular music blog.
Bennett has worked with notable Chicago musicians such as Vic Mensa, Famous Dex, Juice Wrld, and Kanye West. The videographer grew up a Chicago Bears fan and has tweeted his support of the team in the past.
The Bears have chosen a guest with local ties before. In 2021, Carlos Nelson, a local healthcare CEO, announced the team's first-round pick. Former Bear Rashied Davis was another guest announcer in the 2021 NFL Draft. Davis became a local social justice activist after his playing career and spoke at protests in the Chicago area.
It is not yet known which pick Bennett will be announcing, but there are plenty of options. The Bears currently have 10 draft picks, including four picks in the first three rounds.
