The Chicago Bears have undergone significant change over the course of the 2023 offseason. While most of Chicago’s offseason has centered around player personnel, the Bears made an adjustment to the coaching staff on Tuesday.
The Bears announced Kevin Koch, who served as an assistant under head coach Matt Eberflus last season, has been named as the team’s defensive quality control coach.
Koch joined the Bears in 2021 after spending five seasons at Northwestern, including three years as a defensive quality control analyst.
Originally from Elmhurst Ill., Koch played at Minnesota State University Moorhead graduating in 2012. Prior to landing with the Bears, Koch spent time on the coaching staff at Robert Morris College, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Benedictine University.
