The Chicago Bears took down the Washington Commanders on Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football, ending their 14-game losing streak that dates back to October, 2022.

Chicago's 40-20 against Washington on the road came at a critical time for the team.

The Bears have dealt with plenty of drama in recent weeks (Alan Williams stepping down, the Chase Claypool situation, and Justin Fields' misunderstood reference to "coaching" issues).

On Friday morning after the Bears' win, safety Jaquan Brisker joined 670 The Score and sent a message to Chicago fans to let them know their support is much appreciated.

"Shoutout to Bears fans," said Brisker (via Daniel Greenberg). "Best fans. Seriously. They have been with us through a crazy time and they still stuck with us. They come to every single game whether that's home or away. I appreciate that. It doesn't go unnoticed."

There's no doubt that Bears fans are some of the most passionate in professional sports. And they're eager to cheer for a winner that goes deep into the playoffs.

It's been a tough couple of seasons in Chicago as the Bears navigate a tough rebuild. But Thursday night's win against the Commanders showed hints of what's possible in Chicago in the Ryan Poles/Matt Eberflus era when everything clicks.

Now the Bears just have to find a way to recreate Thursday night's magic next week against the Minnesota Vikings.
