The Chicago Bears no longer have the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Friday afternoon that Chicago traded the top overall pick to the Carolina Panthers.

And Bears quarterback Justin Fields is going to love the draft haul.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears are receiving the No. 9 pick in 2023, the No. 61 pick in 2023, a first-round pick in 2024, and a second-round pick in 2025.

And the Bears are getting wide receiver DJ Moore, a former Maryland standout who has three 1,000-yard plus seasons so far during his first five years in the NFL.

Chicago needed to give Fields more weapons and Moore certainly fits the bill. The dynamic wide receiver is a tremendous vertical threat which will pair well with Fields' ability to throw the ball down the field.

The Bears also received plenty of draft capital in return.

There's always the chance that Chicago might not be done, too. There's been plenty of speculation that the Bears could trade down twice in the first round, so I wouldn't assume this is the end of Ryan Poles' draft moves.
