The Cincinnati Bengals officially have 14 players on their initial practice squad for the 2023 season, but they plan on adding at least one more tomorrow.

Former Cleveland Browns running back Demetric Felton will join the Bengals' practice squad following his physical. NFL Draft Diamonds first reported Felton would be coming to Cincinnati, and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler confirmed the news.

As Cleveland's sixth-round pick from the 2021 NFL Draft, Felton was competing for the Browns' RB3 job in his third training camp. The Browns ended up trading for running back Pierre Strong before final cuts, and Felton's fate was sealed.

During his time with the Browns, Felton was used mostly as returner and spent time with wide receivers. He's not much of a factor when running between the tackles, but he's a weapon in space. His most productive season came in 2021 when he notched 18 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bengals will see what they can get out of him with four running backs and six receivers on the active roster ahead of him. Once he signs, the team will have one opening on their practice squad remaining.
