Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Chidobe Awuzie sent a message to the rest of the NFL on Friday in a since-deleted tweet.
Awuzie appeared to take issue with the fact that Cincinnati didn't have an All-Pro player this season despite going 12-4 and winning the AFC North.
Awuzie then said in a tweet that was later deleted that folks need to "pay attention to the Bengals" and to "stop skipping over us like we ain't here".
This Bengals team has a chip on their shoulder. They felt disrespected by the NFL last week after the league's coin toss decision that could've led to Cincinnati playing the Baltimore Ravens on the road in the first round of the playoffs despite the Bengals winning the AFC North. Cincy's win last week against the Ravens removed the coin toss scenario from the equation.
There's no doubt that the Bengals are a motivated team right now. And I have a feeling we're going to see them at their best against the Ravens on Sunday night.
