It seems like every offseason the Cincinnati Bengals enter now is the most important in franchise history. That trend is not dying this year.
Cincinnati needs to pony up the money for their best players not named Joe Burrow. The front office is preparing to sign core pieces Ja'Marr Chase and Trey Hendrickson to sizable extensions, and have a few big-name free agents of their own to retain before other teams get the chance at signing them away.
Things can happen faster than you can keep track of this time of year, and the fate of the club can change just as quick. Make sure to bookmark this page as it will be updated for the next several weeks when new signings, releases, trades, and everything else occurs.
Bengals' updated salary cap space
The Bengals currently have $31,932,299 in cap space. This is calculated by subtracting the sum of the top-51 cap hits on the roster plus non-active roster cap hits in the form of "dead money" from the team's projected adjusted cap ceiling. The NFL announced the unadjusted cap will be $279.2 million this year, making the Bengals' adjusted cap $286,444,571.
Cincinnati's cap space will fluctuate throughout the offseason as the team adds and subtracts more players.
