The Cincinnati Bengals have unveiled their final injury report leading up to Sunday’s Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Cincinnati’s offense will definitely look different with Jake Browning in for Joe Burrow at quarterback, but the players around Browning will all be able to play in Minnesota. The same cannot be said for al Golden’s defense.

Observations

  • Taylor-Britt (hamstring), who left practice Wednesday, did not practice Thursday or Friday and is officially doubtful to play. Should he not suit up, Josh Newton would likely get the start for him. Newton made six starts last year as a rookie and got more playing time when Taylor-Britt was benched multiple times during the season.
  • Turner (hamstring) went limited for the second day in a row and is considered questionable to play. He figures to be the Bengals’ lone game-time decision for Sunday. If he can’t play, DJ Ivey becomes the next-man-up with Marco Wilson the first cornerback off the bench.
  • Stewart (ankle) missed practice all week, so it’s no surprise to see him being declared out for the game already. Myles Murphy will see a jump in snaps without the team’s first-round pick available, and Cam Sample will also get more playing time as well.

Observations

  • Darrisaw (knee) went full Friday and is questionable to make his season debut. He suffered a torn ACL in Week 8 of the 2024 season and has not played in nearly 11 full months. Skule (concussion) was his backup for the first two weeks, but suffered a concussion in Week 2 and is out for this week. Walter Rouse would fill in at left tackle if Darrisaw ends up being inactive.
  • Kelly (concussion) and McCarthy (ankle) are the only other players Minnesota has already declared out. Michael Jurgens will start at center and will snap the ball to Carson Wentz, who’s starting a game before Week 17 for the first time since 2022.
  • Keys (groin), Smith (illness), and Van Ginkel (concussion) are all questionable for Sunday. Keys and Smith went limited Friday while Van Ginkel was a full participant.
