Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals' 53-man roster is officially set. After a preseason filled with tough conversations around positions like wide receiver, offensive line, and others. Of course, key moves still need to be made before Week 1's kickoff game.

The Bengals now have a starting point, though. Here are a few notes on this group:

  • The Bengals had a tough decision to make at WR. They decided to cut undrafted free agents Kendric Pryor (who was surprising enough) and Kwamie Lassiter Jr. even after very good preseason from each.
  • Despite Jake Browning's flashes, Cincinnati opted for the experience at QB in Brandon Allen to back up Joe Burrow.
  • The defensive depth on the Bengals looks completely revamped. The offense gets most of the national attention and understandably so. But this defense has legit depth including on the defensive backfield.
  • The Bengals social media team wants you to know Evan McPherson made the roster.
