Another six-day work schedule for the Cincinnati Bengals means another walkthrough practice with an estimated injury report to begin the week.
Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was listed on Tuesday's estimated injury report with an ankle injury and as a non-participant.
Chase and linebacker Joe Bachie (oblique) were the only players listed as DNPs.
Chase did not appear to suffer an injury during Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, and head coach Zac Taylor didn't mention his name or injury during his weekly presser when asked about any injury updates.
Considering there was no practice Tuesday, it would be unlikely for Chase to suffer a brand new injury out of nowhere. It's unclear when it could've happened, but it's also too early to make any declarations about the severity.
Players such as slot receiver Tyler Boyd, nose tackle DJ Reader, and cornerback DJ Turner missed ample practice time last week with minor injuries purely for precautionary reasons. All three ended up playing full games against the Colts.
To reiterate, the report is just an estimation of what practice would be like. There's a chance Chase practices Wednesday and Thursday despite being an estimated DNP the first practice of the week.
Speaking of Turner (ankle) and Boyd (foot/ankle), both would have been limited Tuesday. Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder), quarterback Jake Browning (right forearm), and tight end Mitchell Wilcox (knee) would've all been full participants.
Browning's muscle cramps that he suffered against the Colts are now labeled as a forearm injury
